Charles Reid qualified as a chartered accountant in 1981 having studied at the University of Natal. Charles has been the Managing partner of Moore Durban since 1987 and has completed a Higher Diploma in Tax. He has served on both The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) National and Regional Committees and also served two terms as Vice Chairman of the Public Accountants and Auditors Board. Charles also sat on the South African Regulators Disciplinary Committee for 17 years and is currently Chairman of Moore South Africa as well as Chairman of the Moore Africa Regional Council. He is also currently a Board member of Moore Global. He has extensive experience in general practice, and currently specializes in: - Tax and Estate planning, both locally and offshore - Dispute resolution and arbitration - Managing the Durban Family Office practice, including acting as Trustee for a number of high net worth families - All aspects of Corporate Finance activity
